The Muddy Buddies Run is the first of it's kind in the OKC area-this is not only a fun obstacle course for you to do-but you get to do it with your canine buddy by your side. All obstacles are designed for both man and canine. The Muddy Buddies Run is a non-timed race event. All sizes, shapes, ages, energy and fitness levels of dogs (and humans) welcome. The run will be a fun run/walk where you can run or walk the course going through the obstacles; or you can simply hang out on the outside of the course to watch the fun and visit with other Muddy-Buddy-ers. This day is for you and your dog, you decide what you want to do! No shaming your dog for getting muddy today!

This 5k cross country obstacle run has you and your dog traverse over 20 obstacles - DESIGNED FOR ALL HUMAN AND CANINE FITNESS LEVELS. This event is about taking your time and making great memories with your dog. Plus, if you or your dog gets too tired-we have many areas you can "bale out". Through woods, fields, streams and MUD, and over many different obstacles; our course promises a one-of-a-kind day that you and your dog will never forget.  Muddy Buddies Run has been designed to challenge the most energetic teams while also allowing all dogs and people of most fitness levels to have a remarkable day. Small dogs, big dogs, 3 legged dogs - will all love the course. 

We have a variety of obstacles such as sand trails, pyramids, tunnels , creek crossings, mazes, mud crawls and of course.. the infamous Mud Pits (yes, dog and human rinse off stations too!) It includes a day of play where your participation will bring forever memories for you and your pup. Plus you will be able to donate to our participating charities that have wonderful stories to inspire you and your dog. This run was created to bring awareness of the hard work that local rescues do every day to bring new life for dogs in need. The event is showing off dogs that have overcome huge life and physical obstacles and these charities took the time to help them and make them have a much better life. Read their stories here. So, come join our run, enjoy some really good time with your best friend and meet and celebrate with our featured rescue dogs in the tailgate party afterwards.

Enjoy the race-it is meant for fun after all, then come enjoy the tailgate area afterwards. EVERYONE is welcome to the tailgate area regardless of event participation. Kick back with some music, goodies, charities, and adoptable dogs. Enjoy food, drinks, dog treats, and much more! It's a great place to hang out with fellow dog-lovers, enjoy the entertainment, and help support your local dog charities.
